This month's EBSQ LIVE! will cover some basics of digital photography. This presentation will include:
Camera selection information
What to ask yourself before buying
Some Lingo to learn
How to set up a small studio with lights in a small space
The importance in lighting
The importance of stability when shooting
Use of tripod and other forms of stabilizing for good focus
Basically covering important aspects about buying what you need, learning the lingo, and utilzing it for what you need specifically for a purpose.
Tina M Maravelis has been a hobbyist photographer since she was able to hold her first 110 camera. She started selling on a professional level in 2000 and has since evolved to digital photo manipulation, digital abstract art and 3D realms.
Tina has shown her work in Agora Gallery in NYC as well as held several exhibitions in Dutchess County, NY and Bantem, CT. She has had her miraculous Birds of Prey study images and essay published in Exposure Magazine.
Tina is also currently enrolled in the established New York Institute of Photography in NYC to continuously further her education. Her camera equipment includes : Nikon D70 DSLR, Nikon N65, Nikon F100 and Nikon 6006 camera bodies.
LIVE! is open to members and non-members and we encourage all who are interested to attend. The evening starts at promptly at 9 PM EST so be sure to arrive a few minutes early.
