This month's EBSQ Live:
Writing For Artists
hosted by EBSQ Self-Representing Artists
Monday, January 8th, at 9pm Eastern (6pm Pacific)
EBSQ Chat Room
Does the thought of having to write about yourself or your art make your palms go sweaty? Is it something that you simply do not feel comfortable doing? Do you wonder why you should do it at all or if it even makes a difference? If any of this applies to you or you have any other concerns or questions about bios, artist statements or any other writing you are asked to do in the course of showing and selling your work, then this is one LIVE you should attend. This type of writing is a particularly important ability when your art will be viewed on online. A computer monitor strips a work of scale, texture and context and your words can make all the difference in how it is perceived. In addition to the why's, we will also cover the how's so you can feel more confident using words to help you connect with your audience and create more interest in you and your art. Questions and insights are welcome and encouraged so please join us for this month's LIVE.
LIVE! is open to members and non-members and we encourage all who are interested to attend. The evening starts at promptly at 9 PM EST so be sure to arrive a few minutes early.
