Top 5 reasons why entering Repurposed makes you smarter than the average bear

Repurposed: Art from Recycled Materials is an EBSQ juried show to benefit Environmental Defense, open for entry from April 1-15 2007

  • It's a charity event open to ALL EBSQ members to benefit a most excellent cause (not yet a member? join today! )
  • Juried exhibit = exellent resume fodder.
  • The winner, to be selected by Treehugger contributor Jeff McIntire-Strasburg, gets 50% of the kitty (so more entries = more ka-ching!)
  • Green is the new black. And green art is bringing sexy back.
  • Found materials  =  free. Giving found materials new life as art, thus saving them from the landfill = priceless.

Time is running out to submit your entry for what could be THE most exciting exhibit on EBSQ's 2007 calendar. Let the art-ing commence!

And as always, questions? Comments? Drop us a line!

Entries have to be in by April 15, so yup, time is indeed running out for the people who typically wait for the show to open, let their idea brew, then try to get their entry in at the 11th hour at the end of the month. If your piece is already in progress, you're in good shape! And I have to say, I'm intrigued by your description!
